These are the files that Brooke used to make her giant resin butterfly. It requires a laser cutter and a 3D printer. Brooke used resin to add color to the wings, but the wings also look cool without resin.

    STL of the butterfly body

    SVG of the wings

    Since the pieces are designed to fit together we do NOT recommend scaling the parts.

  • Suggested Materials

    We used Hatchbox PLA for this project, but any 3D printer filament will work.

    1/4″ wood for the wings, we used exotic hardwood but any 1/4″ material will work.
